Course Description
Project Management Professional (PMP) is an internationally recognized professional designation offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI). This course guides students through fundamental project management concepts and behavioral skills needed to successfully launch, lead and realize benefits from projects in profit and nonprofit organizations. Successful project managers skillfully manage their resources, schedules, risks, and scope to produce a desired outcome.
Course Objectives
The general objective of this course upon completion is for students to be able to apply the generally recognized practices of project management acknowledged by the Project Management Institute (PMI) to successfully manage projects. Among other things, they will:
- Get started with project management fundamentals.
- Identify organizational influences and project life cycle.
- Work with project management processes.
- Initiate and plan a project.
- Plan for project time management.
- Plan project budget, quality, and communications.
- Plan for risk, procurements, and stakeholder management.
- Execute, manage, control and close a project.

NB: Requirements to sit for final exams
Candidate should put in a minimum of 90% attendance to appear for the examinations.
Passing Minimum
A candidate shall secure a minimum of 50% to pass the final examination.
